David Caicedo Londono

David Caicedo is a Colombian sound designer and audio post-producer. In his early years as an undergraduate in film and audiovisual media studies, he became interested in sound design and music for film, which led him to be part of award-winning short films in international film festivals such as Mexico, Argentina, Chile, and Colombia. Driven by his curiosity to explore the broader spectrum of music and sound, he decided to continue his studies by pursuing a Master's degree in Sound Design at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where he collaborated with different film students, working on sound design and film scoring for different projects. In his last academic year at the Academy, he was part of the film crew of the movie "Fremont", contributing as Sound Mixer for the second unit. The film was an official selection at the Sundance Film Festival and the SXSW Film Festival in 2023. David now continues to explore new horizons in the area of video games by volunteering at P-1, an open metaverse initiative that works as an open collective, where David works as a sound designer for games.
