My architectural exploration is fuel by research and reaches for the “what if.” What if a blighted parking deck in a thriving downtown could transform into affordable housing? What if the garage below that deck became a vibrant speakeasy and a new income stream for its owners? What if the deteriorating adjacent parking lot could become the activation space the community craves? I research like a marketer, create with the empathy of a designer, think through the triple bottom line like a real estate developer and just happen to be all three. This project embodies this multifaceted approach.
