Sanne Planting

For both projects, I loved the human connection this project needed to embody. It really allowed me to take time and step into someone else's shoes and conceptualize what their experience should be in the space and how that could aid in a difficult situation caused by the displacement from their homes/countries. For the second project, the location chosen is Amsterdam, which allowed me to not only research the roots of the city but also go back to my own roots being raised in the Netherlands. It felt challenging in a great way to balance my own memories and the needs of the client.
