Leah Norton

Hi, my name is Leah Norton. I am a recent MFA graduate of the Interior Architecture and Design program. I am passionate about creating beautiful spaces that are comfortable, sophisticated, inspiring and are a unique portrait of the client or user. Each of my projects is informed by a building’s architecture and respects its natural surroundings. It’s deeply satisfying to me when I can help create a space that clients love and will enjoy for decades to come. I’m a life-long learner and love to spend time learning about past periods in design, through my AAU classes, travel, books, ICAA and designers I admire. It leads me to discover new-to-me exciting furnishings, textiles, lighting, and interior architecture that help me create better work for clients. I love that interior design allows me to combine both my creative and technical sides. I continuously seek to improve my design skills through courses and practice. I hand or digitally sketch as well as create 3D models for all my projects. My current process involves AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, Procreate and hand rendering.
