Originally from Wuhan, China, I was born into an artistic family.

My undergraduate studies were in California College of the Arts’ Fashion Design Department. At CCA I learned fashion design, furniture design and production, video editing and production, ceramics, weaving and so on. On the recommendation of my instructor,

I then started my postgraduate studies in Textile Design at ArtU. In a short period of three years, I learned screen printing, heat transfer printing, knitting, styling printmaking and more. For my graduation project I collaborated with a fashion design student where I designed the textiles and she created the garments. All this learning has made me the colorful person I am now..
