Nina, originally from Beijing, China, ventured to San Francisco, United States to pursue her passion for fashion design.
Nina draws inspiration from her travels, viewing them as opportunities to immerse herself in diverse cultures and experiences. Her creative process thrives as she discovers unique sources of inspiration, allowing her to infuse her designs with authenticity and originality. Her thesis collection is inspired by Mahjong, a traditional Chinese table game. She collaborated with ‘Sandra’ Mengshan Wei, MFA Textile Designer, on prints for her collection.
