Victor Mena

Hi, my name is Victor Mena, and I am a Mexican actor studying in the BFA program at Academy of Art University. My passion for acting started when I was 7 years old when I watched Spiderman. My first introduction to acting was in middle school when I was 11 years old, and I participated with a group of peers in an improvisation competition where we won first place. Now I continue to be the same passionate person as I was 14 years ago, I continue to use art in my form of expression which I cannot explain with words. I moved by myself to San Francisco and had to leave my family who live back in Mexico. I work part time and I am studying acting because I think that dreams are achievable only through hard work and passion. I am still on the journey to find what my purpose is for why I create my art, and along the way I do it while having fun and learning as much as I can.
