Chelsey Coleman

For over 10 years, I’ve been studying acting and since then I’ve specialized in playing dynamic women, in a plethora of short films at Academy of Art University. This is where I am studying in the MFA Acting program. I earned my Bachelor's in Theatre Arts from Dillard University and have played roles in a variety of pieces from Shakespeare to Willis Richardson and August Wilson, working in many Louisiana Repertory theaters. I host the podcast BLKGirlsSpeak, which illuminates my love for hosting events and doing commercial work, and I’ve begun writing my own television show which I hope to put to good use in Hollywood.
