Chelsey Coleman
Chelsey has dedicated her life to acting for over 15 years and specializes in playing dynamic women. She has starred in a plethora of short films at the Academy of Art University, where she earned her MFA in Acting. Originally from Louisiana, Chelsey attended Dillard University, where she earned a BA in Theatre Arts. She has played roles in a variety of pieces from Shakespeare to Willis Richardson and August Wilson, working in many Louisiana Repertory theaters. Chelsey hosts the podcast BLKGirlsSpeak, which illuminates her passion for hosting events and doing commercial work, and is writing a television show. Outside of acting, Chelsey enjoys playing her piano, reading Black history novels, creating eccentric fashion designs, and expanding her already extensive music collection. She is a 3-time nominee for Best Actress at NXTUpfest.
