Ashley Neves Wilkinson
I was born and raised in Louisiana with some other southern states sprinkled in. I left the South for my undergrad in Utah with an acting scholarship. Then I found myself living in England, Illinois, Southern Utah, SoCal, and Salt Lake City, during most of which, I was a single mom of 4. They’re all grown up now and, after a 25 year wait, I’m now a 1st year MFA Acting student at Academy of Art. Given all my obligations over the years, I performed as often as life would allow. Among my credits are Helen in the first regional production of Fun Home (following its Broadway run), Big Edie/Little Edie in Grey Gardens at Riverside Rep. I’ve co-created several immersive theatre experiences, developed new works, and I coach dialects. I am a hiker, business-owner, and I wait tables. I am a child of the 80’s and no one can tell me there was a more superior decade for pop culture. I love craft beer, local coffee, and karaoke.
