Olivia Yoohwa Kim
Olivia Yoohwa Kim came to the Academy of Art University’s MA in Fashion Merchandising program with a decade of research and development experience in fashion manufacturing. She partnered with global brands, retailers, and department stores from seasonal assortment planning to design during her career.
Her graduate studies in merchandising with the concentration on eCommerce complete the full circle of the fashion product cycle.
A timeless, refined, and customer-centric approach to design is conveyed throughout her projects. In the projects showcased, she explores micro and macro trends of the public luxury market sector to the private nonprofit organizations and comprehensive target customer research into Generations Z and Y. Her studies range from merchandising, marketing, visual merchandising, to UXUI. Olivia is looking for opportunities in merchandising and eCommerce where she can pursue her passion in environmentally and socially sustainable fashion.
