Allison Frank is originally from Trumbull, CT. She has been acting and singing since childhood, training in musical theater in New York City and Connecticut. Seeking a new place to explore the world of acting, she headed west, landing in San Francisco. It was at Academy of Art University, where Allison’s passion for acting on camera ignited.
Allison has performed on stage in Legally Blonde (Vivian), Six Degrees of Separation (Tess), The Drowsy Chaperone (Janet), The Marriage of Bette and Boo (Emily), and In the Heights (Nina). She was also featured in Academy Award winner Jana Memel’s short film, In the End (Allie).
Allison recently won the Best Actress in a Comedy award in the NXTUP fest for her performance in Easy A. She is so thankful for the talented instructors that pushed her to be her best. While Allison’s time at AAU is coming to a close she is hopeful for a bright, productive future in New York City. She plans to continue her work as an actress as well as teach performing arts to younger students.
